HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

The management of ATS Reliance has an ongoing interest in the health, safety and protection of all of their employees, contractors, and visitors. We are committed to the prevention of occupational illness and injury, and will make every effort to provide and maintain a safe and healthy occupational environment.

The management of ATS Reliance will take every reasonable precaution necessary to guarantee the protection of all employees, while ensuring that we have met all legislated health & safety requirements. It is the duty of management to implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Supervisors are accountable for the health and safety of all employees under their supervision, and are responsible to ensure all machinery and equipment is safe and that assignments are carried out in compliance with established safe practices and procedures. In short, it is the responsibility of every supervisor to ensure that safe and healthy work conditions are maintained in their assigned work area.

Every employee must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the law, and with the safe work practices and procedures, as established by ATS Reliance. It is the responsibility of every worker to work safely, and report all unsafe or unhealthy conditions. Employees will receive training in their specific work tasks in order to protect their health and safety.

It is in the best interest of all parties to consider Health & Safety as an integral part of this organization, from the management team to the hourly workers.
